Afflicta is a project that merges Death Metal with Deathcore elements, born in Italy in 2018.

The band took a break in 2020 after the suicide of their former bassist, and decided to carry on, releasing their first album in 2025 "Origin of Sorrow", produced by Stefano Morabito. 

The band quickly made a name for itself in its beloved Turin scene as one of the most virtuosic and violent bands in the underground, offering the public a show worthy of professional artists. The band is now working on new releases for 2025 and an ambitious project scheduled for 2026.
